TEST PREP

SAT PREP

As a benchmark expectation during virtual programming, scholars will participate in SAT preparation workshops with TMs. The priority is to teach scholars the SAT STRATEGIES that will help them increase scores. Other math support will help scholars learn the content and how to solve problems, so this course is focused on strategies. Please inquire about Princeton Review support for instructors, if needed. Scholars should use Khan Academy for SAT practice. If they have not yet taken a PSAT with school or an official SAT, they can take a diagnostic test first on Khan Academy. PSAT tests with UB are not on CollegeBoard. Scholars will be placed in SAT prep as needed based on scores or their lack of.

A scholar may be assigned to either or both preparation workshops as determined by their score or their lack of. Scholars will take a diagnostic test on the app. Scholars will need to create an account first and select the First Generation tests. After the diagnostic, TMs will help scholars work through the practice packets here.
